Program Information

Home Inspection Training Program (Recognition of Achievement) – Qualified home inspectors are in demand, and you will learn the skills you need to expertly examine roofing, structural, electrical, HVAC systems, plumbing, insulation, interior and more at Sheridan. Sheridan’s Home Inspection Training program, in partnership with CarsonDunlop and Associates, incorporates and complies with the Standards of Practice of ASHI/CAHPI (American Society of Home Inspectors/Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors).  It also conforms to the Professional Home/Property Inspector Occupational Standards developed by the Canadian Home Inspectors and Building Officials Steering Committee for National Standards (CHIBO)

Credentials OTHER

Residency Students must complete a minimum number of credits in this program with their registering college to meet the Program Residency requirement to graduate from the program.

Completion All courses must be completed within 5 years of acceptance into the program.
