Health and Safety Risk Management (Recognition of Achievement)
Health and Safety Risk Management (Recognition of Achievement) – Gain knowledge in health and safety legislation and learn to identify safety hazards and mitigate risks in your workplace. Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA) in Ontario and other legislation will help you influence health and safety in your workplace. When you earn a Health and Safety Risk Management Recognition of Achievement (ROA) from Sheridan, youll be able to identify safety hazards and strategize ways to eliminate workplace injuries and accidents.
Students must complete a minimum number of credits in this program with their registering college to meet the Program Residency requirement to graduate from the program.
All courses must be completed within 5 years of acceptance into the program.
