Practical Nursing Theory IV (Hyflex PN)

Course Information

This course continues the study of alterations in health within the context of the nursing process. The content concepts include alterations in health: neurological, skin, sensory, orthopedic, renal, gastrointestinal, reproductive and sexual. This course also explores related pharmacotherapeutics. Prerequisites: PN Clinical III (NRSG 198), Nursing Skills Lab III (NRSG 248), Professional Aspects of Nursing A (NRSG 96), Nursing Care of Families (NRSG 67), Pharmacology Applications B (NRSG 195). Corequisites: PN Clinical IVA (NRSG 23), PN Clinical IVB (NRSG 24), Nursing Skills Lab IV (NRSG 249), Professional Aspects of Nursing B (NRSG 97), Nursing in the Community (NRSG 73).
