Community Services and Integration

Course Information

In this course, students will explore community integration as a foundational approach to mental health and addictions care and rehabilitation. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles, components, and impacts of community integration, with a focus on person-centered goals, autonomy, and civil rights. Through a combination of theory, reflection, and case study analysis, students will be equipped to advocate for community integration strategies that empower individuals in their journey towards mental health and addictions recovery.
