Animations

Animations are simple graphics displayed in such a way to create the illusion of movement.

Animations are highly effective means of illustrating processes or phenomena which change over time. Animations can require large storage space; hence, you should compress them before importing them into your course. Consider using Flash as it uses vector-based drawings which require far less storage space.

Make sure your students will have the proper viewers for the animation, or else you should provide instructions on how they can get them.

Your college has likely established an animation software protocol for college courses.
